I am looking to expand and update this article. The information I am hoping to insert is height, how many games worked (regular season and playoff) and Stanley cup finals season years.

Hi Mirandaheyer and welcome. From your user name I am guessing that you know Shane personally. In that case leaving a note here was the right thing to do. I do not see a problem with you adding uncontroversial information to this article like you mentioned above. Just make sure the information is sourced so we can verify it. If you have any information you think could be added, but are not sure if it is uncontroversial you can leave another note here and I can add it in if i think it is appropriate.
